Trevor Krueger

OWNER

Trevor was exposed to the construction world at an early age, as his grandfather was a builder in Michigan. After high school, he moved out to Durango to attend Fort Lewis College and race mountain bikes. While obtaining his business degree at FLC, Trevor also worked for an architectural consulting company. There he gained a lot of experience in drafting and construction drawing, primarily of high-end and large-scale projects in surrounding resort towns. After college he worked for a building firm doing project management, operations management and design coordination. He accumulated over 23 years of experience before embarking on the journey of owning his own firm. Krueger Group was founded in 2010 by combining Trevor’s business education, industry experience, and his passion for creating quality, custom homes and relationships with his trades and clients.

Trevor is the company’s owner and “head maintenance man!” Because of his passion and dedication, Trevor is involved in every project from beginning to end. He might be the only guy in the office without a nickname. While he’s never been a “Trev,” the guys in the office have been calling him TK which seems to have stuck.

Aside from running his company, Trevor loves riding his bike. While he has long since retired from his cycling career, he still loves to ride the mountain and road bike and watch the Tour de France. His free time is often spent with his wife and two kids. They love the outdoors and camping in their van. Trevor is a guy who also appreciates a nice meal and an interesting bottle of wine. Don’t ask him about wine unless you want to talk for a while!

One of his favorite parts about his work: “The ability to create unique projects with clients from all over the world, who want to live in Durango for all the same reasons we live here.”

 
 
 

David Lubrant

Estimator, Senior Project Manager

David, a true Colorado native, joined Krueger Group in October of 2018. His extensive experience in the field includes 10 years of carpentry and 14 years of construction management.

David’s roles include estimating, budgeting, and senior project management. Specifically, he works with the entire team to construct, develop and deliver project budgets. He also works with clients and team members during the early stages of the project to get the projects going.

A man of many hobbies, he enjoys rafting, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, motorcycles and being outdoors with close friends. His wife, Lindsay, and daughter, Addyson, are the loves of his life!

He goes by David, or “Luby” to many (a shortened version of his last name). Feel free to call him either!

His favorite thing about working at Krueger Group: “Aside from the great relationships with the people I meet through work, I enjoy building beautiful homes with beautiful people in this mountain paradise.”

 
 
 

Kevin Banash

SITE SUPERVISOR

Kevin has been working with Krueger Group for over 10 years and has officially been on the team since 2017. Kevin, known by many as Kevlar, joined the company with over 30 years of carpentry experience, 20 years in the tile industry and 10 years of general contracting in Kansas, California, and Colorado.

As a site supervisor, Kevin makes sure everyone involved in the project has the correct information and materials needed to complete their scope. He is also in charge of making sure the quality of work performed is to Krueger Group standards. He’s a problem solver who enjoys finding creative solutions. Clients are often sad once Kevin’s work on their jobsite comes to an end, luckily, we offer a support group for that!

In his free time, Kevin loves to run rivers and spend time with his pup, Alabama. You might also see him playing beach volleyball after work, or at the 24/7 gym.

Jason “Diz” Dzikowski

Project Manager

Diz has spent over 25 years in the construction industry doing carpentry, framing, trim, and cabinetry before joining the Krueger Group team in 2020. With a formal education in Philosophy, Diz is a deep thinker and a man of many interests.

As a project manager, he takes the project from the planning phase, through construction to completion. He facilitates design adjustments, helps clients with selections and coordinates those decisions with the site supervisor and subcontractors-- all while keeping the project on schedule and within budget, easy peasy! Diz also has the very important role as the Chief Office Horticulturist and Plant Waterer.

Outside of the office, Diz enjoys taking his adventure van that he outfitted to go biking, backcountry skiing and boating. He often volunteers by doing trail work on the weekends. Diz loves to cook and hang out with friends. He can make a mean salsa and he likes a cold IPA. Only his mother calls him Jason, so feel free to call him “Diz”, just like we do.

His favorite thing about working at Krueger Group: “Every custom home we do is different and unique, so there's always something new to learn while helping clients achieve their ideal home. Win-win!”
